Compatibility
It is estimated that there are over 50,000 WordPress plugins available to use on your WordPress website. Unfortunately, this means it’s impossible to create a WordPress theme that will be compatible with every plugin available. We cannot guarantee if certain plugins will work with our themes or not.
Our themes include and use plugins such as Advanced Custom Fields which store data, including the content added to your website via our page builder, to your WordPress database. While this data will remain in your database should you change your theme, your new theme will not be set up to pull through this data for editing via the WordPress admin area, or to be displayed on the front-end of your website.
If you would like a copy of the custom field groups and fields for use in your new theme, we will be happy to supply these upon request, but we cannot assist with integrating those fields into your new theme.
Similarly, if your WordPress theme prior to switching to one of our themes contains custom fields or custom post types, we cannot assist with integrating those fields or post types into your new theme.
Support Policy
We want to ensure that your experience of using our themes is the best it can possibly be. We understand that WordPress can be confusing at times and so we are happy to help where we can.
We have created this support policy to ensure that we can continue to provide a high quality support to all of our customers. Unfortunately, we are not able to assist with every issue that arises on your WordPress website.
Our policy includes support for:
- Issues related to installation of our themes
- Updates to the WordPress CMS that affect our themes
- General bugs and issues
Our policy does not include support for:
- Issues caused by third-party plugins
- Issues that are a result of the user editing or modifying the theme
- Customisations or modifications to our themes
- Issues caused by your hosting provider
- Issues that may occur should you change your WordPress theme to another theme
Our support and general office hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm (GMT), excluding UK Bank and Public Holidays. We aim to respond to all support requests within 2 working days. We reserve the right to request proof of purchase to verify your order before providing support. We do not provide emergency or out of office hours support.
Any enquires related to support must be made via the contact form on our website or email. We will not provide support via social media, telephone, text message, or any other online messaging services. If you do contact us via any other means than email, we may kindly ask you to make your request again via email.
While we have tried our best to ensure that all of our themes are in good working order, there is always a possibility that bugs may occur. We will do our utmost to resolve any issues with our themes and will release updates to our themes with fixes for these bugs. Please ensure that your theme is kept up-to-date in order to keep it running smoothly.
If you would like to make changes to your theme, we recommend installing and using the child theme that is included with each of our themes. We are not responsible for any changes you make to the code of your themes.
We cannot provide support for any issues that arise as a result of third party plugins you have installed on your website. If you experience any issues with your plugins, you must contact the plugin developer directly.
We also cannot provide support for any issues that may arise if or when you change your WordPress theme to another theme, including changing to another one of our themes (see Compatibility section).
In many circumstances, we will require administrator-level access to your WordPress admin area to assist with support requests. Your privacy is important to us and we will never share your login credentials with anyone else. We will only log in to your WordPress admin area when we have permission to do so, and we do not save your login credentials on our computers.
You may prefer to add us as a user to your WordPress website rather than sharing your login credentials with us. If you choose to do this, please add a new user using hello@snugdesigns.co.uk for the email address and username, and select Administrator for the user role. If you are unsure of how to add new users to your WordPress website, please let us know and we will provide you with instructions.
We do not tolerate any form of behaviour that we deem to be abusive. We reserve the right to deny support to anyone who is abusive towards us.
