Fun Ways to Make Your Theme Stand Out

Snug Designs are all about creating websites for your brands and business which are well branded, customisable and of course, fun! We want your website to showcase your personality and make people want to work with the human behind the brand.

There are lots of ways to customise your theme, but how about making it stand out and not look like anyone else’s? Here are some amazing ways Snug theme users have made this work for them…

Use Graphics Instead of Photos

With our custom patterns for the WordPress block editor, it’s easy to showcase your pages, latest blog posts and more. The most common way would be to just use photos for these areas but you can really make an impact if instead, you use custom graphics! Grow & Glow do an amazing job with this and it really shows off their beautiful brand in the best way too.

Create a Super Unique Colour Palette

The one thing we really wanted to make as easy as possible with the themes is adding your own brand colour palette because colour is the best way to make an amazing first impression! The custom colour palette option in your theme means you can pull together a really unique scheme and make your website pop, just like Charlotte from By Charlotte Ann did with this beautiful bright palette.

Switch Up Those Fonts

You can customise the fonts on your website using Google Fonts or Adobe Fonts, or you can upload your any font file and use this instead. Take a look at what Rhianna Olivia has done with her Shine theme! Adding your own brand fonts or different fonts to the built in system will make your theme look completely different to any others and can add a bit of personality too.

Play Around with the Page Builder

Although we’ve given you a bunch of demo pages, you can always break out of these and use the block editor to make your own custom pages! Nulla Content did a great job of using the Bloom theme to make unique Services and About pages and really made the most of all of the features.

Experiment With Your Logo

Our themes allow you to add your very own logo to make sure your branding is really clear on your website. But, you could do something really exciting with your logo to stand out, like Emma Matthews did with her flashing, changing colour GIF logo! Making an animated logo is such a lovely addition to your website and is really unique.
