How to install demo content

We have created some demo content that you can install on your website to showcase how our themes work.

We recommend only installing demo content on a brand new WordPress installation to avoid conflict with existing content.

Before installing the demo content, please make sure that all the recommended plugins are installed and activated. This includes the One Click Demo Import plugin which is used to import the demo content.

To install the demo content, hover over Appearance in the left-hand menu of WordPress and click on Import Demo Data.

Once you are on the Once Click Demo Import page, click on the Import Demo Data button.

It can take some time for the demo content to be imported. During this time, don’t refresh or close the page.

Once the demo content has been installed, you will be able to see it in your admin area and on the front-end of your website.

To get the full affect of the demo content, make sure you assign the demo homepage to as the front page of your website, and make sure you assign the demo menus to the relevant locations.

Occasionally, there may be issues installing the demo content. Don’t worry; some hosting accounts will time out before all of the content has loaded in and this is why the installation fails. If this happens you to you, we recommend trying to install the demo content for a second time, and if it failed again, get in touch with us and we’ll happily manually add in the demo content for you.
