We’ve made it super easy to customise the appearance of your Snug theme. You can find all most all of the appearance settings in the customiser. This is a built-in WordPress feature that allows you to easily customise your theme while seeing a live preview of the changes on the screen at the same time. We will be referring to the customiser a lot throughout these guides.
To access the customiser, hover over Appearance in the left-hand menu and click on Customise.
This will take you to the customise page which looks something like this:
On the right-hand side of the screen, you will see a live version of the theme, and on the left-hand side of the screen, you will see some tabs. The tabs that are here will vary from theme to theme.
Each of these tabs corresponds to a certain aspect of your website. So for example, Colours & Design Features controls the colours, graphics and other design features that make up your theme, and Layout Settings controls the layout of the blog page, blog post, standard pages, archives, etc. We’re going to look at each of the tabs in each section throughout this guide.
The changes you make while using the customise will not be made live on your website until you click the Publish button at the top of the page, so make sure you only publish your changes when you are 100% happy with them.
