How to use the contact page builder

All of our themes have a custom page template for creating a beautiful contact page with a contact form.

The contact form is powered by one of the recommended plugins for our themes; Contact Form 7. Make sure you have already set up your contact form before continuing with this tutorial. If you’re not sure how to create a contact form using Contact Form 7, we suggest reading this tutorial.

To set up your contact page so it looks like this, start by adding a new page or selecting an existing page.

On the right-hand side of the screen you will see a box titled Page Attributes. Within this box you will see a drop-down list titled Template. Click on this drop-down list and select Contact Page.

You may need to save and reload this page before you can edit this page further.

Once you have selected the Contact Page template you will see a section at the bottom of the page titled Contact Page. Within this section, you will see a field called Contact form shortcode. This is where you will need to paste the shortcode for your contact form that you have created using Contact Form 7.

To obtain your shortcode from the Contact Form 7 plugin, hover over Contact in the left-hand menu of WordPress and click Contact Forms.

This will take you to a page where you can see a list of all of the forms you have created using Contact Form 7.  Next to each of your forms you will see the shortcode for the form. You will need to copy the shortcode of the form that you want to display on your contact page.

Now return to your contact page and paste in the shortcode into the Contact form shortcode field.

You should now be able to see your form on the front-end of the website.
