Bloom block guide

Our themes feature a built-in page builder to help you to easily customise your pages. The page builder is based on blocks. Each page builder features different blocks, and each block has a different role.

If you aren’t familiar with the page builder and how to use it, we recommend checking out this tutorial.

Here are the blocks that are included with the Bloom theme:

Featured Pages

The Featured Pages block can be used to display featured pages as well as WooCommerce products and portfolio items. You can select up to three pages to display. For best results, ensure that you have assigned a featured image to the pages you want to display.

This is what it looks like on the front end of the website:

Once you have added this block, all you need to do is select your three pages from the drop-down lists provided.

Latest Blog Posts

The Latest Blog Posts block will automatically display the three latest blog posts from your blog. For best results, ensure that you have assigned a featured image to your blog posts.

This is what it looks like on the front end of the website:

Once you have added the block, you don’t need to configure anything. It will just automatically pull through your three latest posts from your blog.

Testimonials

The testimonials block will display testimonials in a slideshow format. You can only use one testimonial block per page.

This is what it looks like on the front end of the website:

Once you have added the Testimonials block, click the Add Testimonial button to add a testimonial.

Then enter the name of the person or business that has provided the testimonial, the testimonial itself, and an image to display beside it.

To add another testimonial, just click Add Testimonial again.

You can add as many testimonials as you wish. You can also rearrange the order of the testimonials.

To move a testimonial, hover over the number beside the testimonial you want to move. Then hold the left button mouse button down and drag the testimonial to where you want it to be.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)

The FAQ block can be used to display frequently asked questions.

This is what it looks like on the front end of the website:

To add an FAQ click the Add Question/Answer button to add a new frequently asked question.

Simply enter a question and then the answer to this question next to it.

To add another FAQ, just click Add Question/Answer again.

You can add as many frequently asked questions as you wish, and you can also rearrange the order of the frequently asked questions.

To move a FAQ, hover over the number beside the FAQ you want to move. Then hold the left button mouse button down and drag the FAQ to where you want it to be.

Text

The Text block allows you to add text to your pages.

This is what it looks like on the front end of the website:

Once you have added the text block you can add any content you wish using the editor.

Text and two images

The Text and two images block allows you to display two images with some text in between them.

Once you have added this block you can select the two images that you would like to display, add in a title and the text you want to display, and also added in a call to action link if you wish.

Text and image (style 1)

The Text and image (style 1) block allows you to display an image with some text next to it.

Once you have added this block you can select the image that you would like to display, add in a title and the text you want to display, and also added in a call to action link if you wish. You can also choose whether you would like the image to show on the left-hand side or the right-hand side of the screen.
